How to File a Claim
Using your PlatinumCare warranty is simple. If you experience a covered mechanical failure, contact our Warranty Department at 615-477-6765 and our Warranty Administrator will walk you through every step of the process.
Once your repair is approved, you can get your bus serviced right in your city! Simply pay your $100 deductible, and we handle the rest.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
PlatinumCare is included free for churches and senior care communities on every new bus purchase. It is not available for other organization types, such as shuttle operators, tour and charter companies, schools, or auto and bus dealers. Those buyers still receive SilverCare at no cost on every new bus and van, which covers the entire vehicle, bumper to bumper, for 5 years or 60,000 miles, and they can upgrade to GoldCare for 7 years or 70,000 miles of coverage.
PlatinumCare covers the entire bus, bumper to bumper, for 8 years with unlimited miles. Routine maintenance and consumable items, such as wiper blades, filters, and fluids, are not covered. Your warranty contract lists the complete terms, conditions, and exclusions.
Yes. Once your claim is approved by our Warranty Administrator, you can take your bus to a qualified local mechanic of your choice. Simply pay your $100 deductible and we take care of the rest, including paying the repair shop directly for approved labor and parts.
PlatinumCare begins on the day of purchase or the official in-service date. It runs alongside the factory OEM warranty and continues after that factory coverage expires, giving churches and senior care communities a full 8 years of unlimited-mile protection.
