Custom Solutions for Mississippi Industries
Church Buses for Mississippi Congregations
• PlatinumCare Included: New church buses are covered for 8 years, unlimited miles, bumper to bumper, at no charge.
• Volunteer Drivers: A bus designed for 15 or fewer people, including the driver, can usually be driven on a regular Mississippi license, so church volunteers can take the wheel.
• Room for Luggage: Our reps say rear or overhead storage is the feature church buyers most often wish they had added, especially for camp and mission trips.
• Financing in Your Church's Name: We almost always finance with the church itself, not the pastor or deacons personally.
Wheelchair Accessible Buses for Mississippi Senior Care
• PlatinumCare Included: Senior care communities get 8 years, unlimited miles, bumper to bumper, free, and the lift is covered.
• Paid Staff Drivers: Mississippi lists a Class D light commercial license alongside its regular license. If your drivers are paid staff, ask the Driver Service Bureau which one they need.
• Lift Options: Most of our buses can be set up with a rear or side wheelchair lift, securement tie-downs, and fold-away seating.
• Walk-Away Lease Option: Many senior communities lease so they can return the bus after a few years.
Shuttle Buses for Mississippi Private Schools
• Teams & Trips: Private schools buy from us most often for athletics, field trips, and activities, often the same shuttle buses churches use.
• Private School Flexibility: Private schools aren't limited to school-bus-style vehicles. Confirm Mississippi rules before using any bus for daily routes.
• Know the CDL Line: A bus designed for 16 or more people, including the driver, generally needs a CDL with a Passenger endorsement in Mississippi.
• Activity Buses Available: We can also supply activity buses (MFSABs), built to yellow school bus structural standards. We don't sell yellow school buses.

Mississippi Bus FAQ
For a bus designed for 15 or fewer people, including the driver, a regular Mississippi license is usually enough for volunteers. Mississippi also lists a Class D light commercial license, so if your drivers are paid, ask the Driver Service Bureau which class applies. Buses designed for 16 or more people generally need a CDL with a Passenger endorsement.
We don't sell full-size highway motorcoaches. Our buses carry up to 45 people, including the driver. For an upscale ride with a smaller group, look at our L.A. West luxury executive coaches. For bigger groups, our large buses seat 31 to 45.
Yes. Used inventory changes daily, and used church buses generally run $40,000 to $80,000 based on year, mileage, and condition. A used bus keeps whatever factory warranty remains, and an optional service contract is available.
We don't sell yellow school buses. Private schools have more flexibility than public schools, so many choose one of our shuttle buses for athletics, field trips, and activities. We can also supply activity buses (MFSABs), built to the same federal structural standards as a yellow school bus. Check Mississippi rules before using any bus for daily routes.
Our Franklin, Tennessee headquarters, about 20 minutes south of Nashville, is the closer location for nearly all of Mississippi, about three and a half hours from Tupelo. We also deliver to all 82 counties.
Mississippi Agencies to Know
Here's who handles what when a Mississippi organization buys and runs a bus. Rules can change, so confirm the details with each office.
- Driver Licenses: The Mississippi Department of Public Safety's Driver Service Bureau issues regular, light commercial, and commercial licenses.
- Title and Registration: The Mississippi Department of Revenue oversees titles, registration, and license plates, and you generally register at your county tax collector's office. Your paperwork from us starts with the titling form you complete with your specialist.
- Child Care Transportation: The Mississippi State Department of Health licenses child care facilities and publishes their rules. Check them before you choose a bus for children.
- Federal Rules: The FMCSA sets the federal CDL rules Mississippi follows, and NHTSA sets the safety standards new buses are built to.
