Passenger counts include the driver, and our largest buses carry up to 45 people. In Alabama, the regular license is a Class D, and the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) issues CDLs for buses designed for 16 or more people. Confirm the right class with ALEA before you buy.

- Visit Franklin: Our headquarters is about two hours from Huntsville, open Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM Central. Ask your specialist what's on the lot before you come.
- Timing: In-stock buses can often be delivered the same week or the next, and almost always within a month. Factory orders take 60 days to 9 months, depending on chassis availability.
- Cost: Delivery is charged per mile, one way. Your specialist will give you the current rate. Bargain Bus Deals buses are pickup only.
- Lettering: We can add your church or school name before delivery. Allow a couple of extra weeks.
Alabama Bus FAQ
Usually not for a bus designed for 15 or fewer people, including the driver, which can generally be driven on a regular Class D license. Buses designed for 16 or more people generally need a CDL with a Passenger endorsement: a Class C under 26,001 pounds, or a Class B at 26,001 pounds or more. Churches don't get a general CDL exemption, so confirm with ALEA before you buy.

Yes. Used church buses generally run $40,000 to $80,000, based on year, mileage, and condition. A used bus keeps whatever factory warranty remains, and an optional service contract is available. Your specialist can tell you what's on the lot now.
We don't sell full-size highway motorcoaches. Our buses carry up to 45 people, including the driver. For a more upscale ride with a smaller group, look at our L.A. West luxury executive coaches. For bigger groups, our large buses seat 31 to 45.
We don't sell yellow school buses. Alabama private schools have more flexibility than public schools, so many choose one of our shuttle buses for athletics, field trips, and activities. We can also supply activity buses (MFSABs), built to the same federal structural standards as a yellow school bus.
Alabama's child care center transportation rule (660-5-26-.05) calls for seat restraints suited to each child's age and size, no child in the front seat of a vehicle with a passenger air bag, an annual mechanic's safety check on each vehicle, and a seat-by-seat check by the driver at every stop. Check the current rules with the Alabama Department of Human Resources before you buy.
